We will visit Dahlonega Gold Mines and environs February 09, 2008, for this year's Georgia Day field trip. Guests are welcome to join us for a tour of the area following lunch at Smith House. Members and guests may meet at 10:30 AM in the Blairsville United Community Bank parking lot to carpool or may join us at Smith House for 12:00 noon lunch. Cost of lunch is $18.00. Interested guests may reserve by phoning Eloise Wolfersteig 706-379 2533 on or before February 1. Members are asked to send their check to the chapter treasurer by February 1.

The purpose of this organization is to observe and honor our country's history and heritage and to foster education and patriotism among our citizens. Old Unicoi Trail Chapter NSDAR serves Towns, Union and Fannin Counties. Visit our home page online at http:// oldunicoitrail.georgiastatedar. org/.
