 | | Hi, I'm Chopper, a fun loving, affectionate, sweet one year old Australian Cattle Dog Mix. I am not from the Outback, but I bark with an accent. At least that is what they tell me here at the shelter. My breed was developed to be able to drive wild cattle over long distances. Protecting my masters home and family is a responsibility my breed takes very seriously. My build is sturdy and compact and my weight should not exceed 51 lbs. I was bred to be an energetic working dog, so I will need regular exercise. I am neutered and up to date on all my shots, plus I will be micro chipped before going home to live with you. Australian cattle dogs possess stamina, reliability and uncanny intelligence. Come see for yourself, let me show you a trick or two. |

The Valley River Humane Society Shelter hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 11 am till 5 pm. We are located at 7450 U.S. 19 in Marble. Call 828-837-2304 to meet any of our animals.

 | | I'm Francesca. A female Domestic Short Haired about 1 yr and 3 months old. I love to get into unusual positions, as you can see by my favorite laundry basket; I am very clean, loveable, and love to play. I could entertain myself for hours. You would love to sit and watch me; maybe even join in on the fun. I too am also spayed and up to dates on my shots so we will not have to wait long at all to become a family. I am ready to go; my basket is packed, come and get me and let's starts our laundry cycle together. My favorite is tumble dry, what's yours? |
