Writers to Read at John C. Campbell Folk School
The North Carolina Writer's Network Netwest will host an hour of prose and poetry, February 21st. at 7:00 P.M. in the Keith House. Peg Russell, a resident of Murphy N.C., will read selections of light verse. These verses, though light in nature, are crafted with the same skill and adherence to form as her poetry. Peg is a member of the Sarasota Selby Poets, a Fellow of the Florida Writing Project and the North Carolina Writer's Network. Richard Argo also of Murphy is a prose writer of fiction and nonfiction. He is the facilitator for the N.C.W.N. Netwest prose critique group. His work has appeared in Carolina Country and Lights in the Mountains, an anthology. Richard served in the United States Coast Guard and is now retired. He is a graduate of The Evergreen State College.
The program leader for the evening will be local poet Glenda Beall.
