Nancy Ware
A native of Towns County, GA; she was the daughter of the late T. C. Ashe. She was a lifelong resident of Clay County, NC and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. She had worked as a C.N.A. at Chatuge Regional Nursing Home and Murphy Medical Center Nursing Home. She enjoyed making crafts, cake decorating and working in her flower garden. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her son, Mike Hedrick who passed away August 21, 2006. She is survived by her mother, Roberta Ashe of the Tusquittee Community, Hayesville, NC; one son, Mark Hedrick of Warne, NC; one brother, Tommy Ashe and his wife Penny of Canton, GA; two nephews, Nick and Chris Jones and three great-nephews, Jhaylan, Zander and Zaylor Jones. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at the Oak View Baptist Church in Hayesville, NC with the Rev. David Cothren officiating. Interment will be in the Oak View Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mark Hedrick, Billy Allison, Nick Jones, Kim Jones, Matt Allison, Ryan Prather, Jeff Allison and Preston Cabe. Honorary pallbearer will be Randy Cheeks. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made In Memory of Nancy Elizabeth Ware c/o Mark Hedrick, 1355 Ford Road, Warne, NC 28909 to assist the family with expenses.
