ODWC Announces Classes CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT & DIALOGUE Wednesdays. 5:30 - 7:30. 6 weeks. March 19, 2008 to April 23, 2008 What makes us identify with, or be repulsed by a character in a work of fiction? Usually, a combination of factors elicits such strong emotions: the character's character as skillfully defined by the author, using well chosen words to describe the character's actions and thoughts; as well as dialogue that is believable and consistent with the character. This six-week course will focus on developing the skills associated with creating substantive characters and convincing dialogue. Internet and Email Seminar March 5, 2008. One day. 9:00am to 3:00pm. We're 8 years into the 21st century. Are you still trying to figure out what the internet is all about? Are you still not sure how to attach pictures to your outgoing email? Are you using the internet without Anti-virus or Internet security software? If so, you need to register for this class! This all-day seminar will introduce you to, and show you how to roam, the streets with a measure of safety, your global neighborhood - the World Wide Web. Please note that course offerings and schedules are subject to change without prior notification. Please continue to check www.odwc.org for the latest information regarding our programs.
