Concert at YHC to Benefit Mexico Mission Trip The band Three-R-One (3R1) will perform a benefit concert at Young Harris College on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hilda D. Glenn Auditorium. Admission is free, and all proceeds from any CD sales and a voluntary love offering will go towards supporting the college's 2008 mission trip to Juarez, Mexico. The college praise band, ElevateOrFall, will provide the opening act. Led by campus minister Rev. Fred Whitley, forty students and 5 adults will forego their March spring break in order to travel to Juarez, Mexico for the purpose of building two homes. This will be the 10th year that YHC students have spent their spring break giving back in this way, with a total of 16 homes constructed over the years. The Mexico mission trip reinforces the concepts of Christian service and community for YHC students while providing crucial housing needs for impoverished families in Juarez, Mexico. The Mexico mission trip serves the two-fold purpose of helping those in need and educating those more fortunate to the plight of others. For more information on the band, visit www.threerone. com.
