The Design Charrette's Coming to townand they'll need your help
By: Margie Weathers

Hayesville has changed a to since this photo was taken. It will continue to change, as everything alive does.

It's important that residents and business people contribute to the discussion about how we want our town to look in the years to come.

The Clay County Communities Revitalization Association (CCCRA) invites you to a community meeting on Thursday, 13 March 2008, at 6:30 p.m. at the Truett Baptist Church Fellowship Hall to share you ideas. The meeting will begin with a covered dish dinner- please bring enough food for eight.

Following the meal, a Design Team of landscape and architecture students and professors from North carolina State University will consult with us about what we want to highlight, to preserve, to change, and to enhance in Hayesville.

Then then will work through the following Friday and Saturday, and present their suggestions on Saturday.

If you plan to attend, we need to know so that we can prepare for you. Please call Margie Weathers at 389-0638, Karen Haas at 389-0994, or Rob Tiger at 389-1342. If you can't the dinner, come at 7:30 for the discussion.
