Letter to the Editor:

Since the implementation of the Clay County Sexual Assault Response Team (S.A.R.T.) I have had the privilege of meeting with and working with some remarkable people. The S.A.R.T. incorporates members of various agencies that may come in contact with victims of Sexual Assault. I believe we have one of the most comprehensive teams ever established, and even though we are in our infancy, we are learning much about each other and what our roles are and can be with victims and perpetrators.

These extremely hard working people and agencies have taken time to care about yet one more issues. Because rape is everyone's problem, we can solve it only through the efforts of women and men, girls and boys, agencies and communities working together.

I am proud to be associated with this team. I am proud to be associated with this community.
