Pre-School Easter Basket
 | | Although it was a rainy day, pre-schoolers at Hayesville Elementary School made the best of their Easter party and hunted eggs in-doors last week. A bright spot to an otherwise soggy Spring day was a visit from Community In Schools and Eller and Owens Furniture, who delivered Easter Baskets and treats for Hayesville Pre-Schoolers and children at the school's daycare. All 100 children received baskets which were donated by Eller and Owens Furniture in conjunction with Theresa Waldroup, Director of CIS. Eller & Owens Furniture's Hayesville store Manager Cyndi Gibson and Waldroup braved the wet weather on Wednesday and delivered the Spring-treat to the children. Community in Schools is a non-profit organization that works with local agencies, organizations, businesses and individuals to meet the needs of children in Clay County. |
