Sarah "Cricket" McLelland
She was a native of Cherokee County, NC and the daughter of the late Woody Hyatt and Lola Marie Sudderth Raxter. She was retired from Berkshire Manufacturing in Andrews, NC as a seamstress. Elizabeth was of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ross James McLelland; two sons, Jack D. McLelland and Ross James McLelland, Jr. and sister, Edith Curtis. She is survived by two daughters, Donna Patton of Winder, GA and Lola Marie McLelland of Snellville, GA; three brothers, Gerald Raxter of Dandridge, TN, Jack Raxter and Walter Raxter both of Andrews, NC; ten grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at the Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews, NC. Rev. Jeff Maynard officiated.
