Murphy Medical Center Maternal Infant Unit Boasts Certification

Selena Roberts, RN, RNC
Demonstrating a commitment to excellence, Selena Roberts, RN, RNC recently earned national Maternal Newborn Certification.

Selena Roberts, RN, RNC attended the nursing program at Tri County Community College and began her nursing career in 1996 as a Licensed Practical Nurse at a hospital in Tennessee. She became an employee of Murphy Medical Center in 1997. Ms. Roberts worked on the Medical Surgical Unit until she transferred to the Maternal Infant Unit in 1998. Ms. Roberts returned to school through Region A Nursing Consortium in 2002 while working full time in the Maternal Infant Unit. She obtained an Associate Degree in Nursing in 2003.

Certification is an honor. By earning certification in her specialty, Ms. Roberts serves as a role model to colleagues.

Murphy Medical Center is proud of Ms. Roberts for seeking validation of expert knowledge and demonstrating personal commitment to provide quality care to our patients.
