Kenneth William Cook Kenneth William Cook, 61, of Hayesville died Wednesday (April 9, 2008). He was a native of Durham County, NC, but had lived in Hayesville for the past six years. He was the son of the late William McIver Cook Jr. and Betty Faye Martin Cook. He was a retired transmission mechanic and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are his wife, Patricia Breeze Cook; a daughter, Angelia Dawn Ellis of Hillsborough, NC; a son, David S. Cook of Oklahoma City, OK; two step-daughters, Julie Matthews of Stem, NC and Deidre Green of Glen Allen, VA; a sister, Pamela McElheney of Durham, NC; a brother, Barney Cook of Goldsboro, NC; and six grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Ivie Funeral Home, Hayesville in charge of arrangements.
