Renowned artist to visit Truett church
Come meet the songwriter who gave us classics like Redemption Draweth Night, Written in Red, I Should Have Been Crucified, Bring Back the New Again, You're the only Jesus, Bigger than any Mountain, Tears are a Language, He's as close as the Mention of His Name, God Still Loves the World, and many more. Hear him sing them as only he can! Ten times nominated for the Gospel Music Association's Dove Award, and nominated on five occasions for Songwriter of the Year, several of Gordon's compositions have garnered the GMA's Top Ten Songs of the Year distinction. Gordon, wife Marsha and their four children, Kellie, Hollie, Gordon II, and Michael, make their home near Nashville, TN. Gordon's warm and easy manner sets everyone at ease as his thought provoking ministry elicits both laughter and tears. Invariably, audiences leave his concerts lifted in spirit and strengthened in their faith. The concert will begin at 6:00 p.m., Saturday, May 3. There is no admission charge, as a freewill offering will be collected during the concert. We are very pleased that Gordon will also be joining us in our worship services on Sunday, May 4, singing additional selections, some with the help of The Truett Worship Choir.
