The Warren Wilson College Folk Choir will perform in a free concert at the John C. Campbell Folk School in Brasstown, N.C. on Friday, April 25 at 7:30 p.m.

The Warren Wilson College Folk Choir, under the direction of Dr. Milton Crotts, is committed to the performance of a variety of musical styles and the exploration of music and singing traditions of many cultures. They bring to the stage a diverse interest in Appalachian ballads, Celtic tunes, Early American Shape-note singing, African traditional singing, and Early European music. Their performances are filled with enthusiasm and professionalism. Dr.Crotts has been at Warren Wilson College for five years and established the Folk Choir, a student ensemble committed to promoting the College Triad of service, work, and academics through music. His former academic appointments include Associate Professor of Music at Davidson College and the University of Guam.
