Christine Murray
She was a native of Clay County, NC. Christine was a retired LPN who had worked for many years in the Murphy, NC. area. She was the daughter of the late Andy and Myrtle Ashe Parker and was preceded in death by her husband, James William Murray, Sr. who died in 1963 and two brothers, Edward Parker and Clarence Parker. She is survived by a son, James and his wife, Belinda Murray of Hayesville, NC; four grandchildren, Jane Murray, Joseph Murray both of Hayesville, NC, Michelle and her husband Shane Shepherd of Loganville, GA and Julie and her husband Michael Arvey of Franklin, NC and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at the Townson-Rose, Frank Rose Sr. Memorial Chapel. Rev. Jim Payne and Rev. Danny Burch will officiate. Burial will be in the Union Hill Cemetery in Hayesville, NC. The family will receive friends from 1:30 P.M. to 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at the Townson Rose, Frank Rose Sr. Memorial Chapel in Hayeville, NC.
