Donna R. Masters
Donna R. Masters, 75, of Brasstown died Friday (May 2, 2008) at her residence. A native of New Lisbon, IN, she had lived in Elwood, IN before moving to Brasstown in 1984. She was the daughter of the late John Wesley and Stella Viola Baumgarnter Snow and the wife of the late Richard Paul Masters, who died March 21, 2003. Donna was a member of the Pine Log Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by two sons, Wayne E. and Charles W. Massie. Surviving are two sons, Fred Ray Massie and wife, Vikki of Gilbert, AZ and Scott Lee Massie and wife, Carol Ann of Brasstown; a step-daughter, Sandra Lee Branham and husband, Hall of Anderson, IN; a step-son, Thomas Edward Masters and wife, Cindi of Anderson; a brother, Ira Paul Snow of Meza, AZ; and two grandchildren, Christian Paul Massie and Jacob Wayne Massie. Funeral services were held at 11:00 AM Monday (May 5) in the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy with the Rev. Kevin Miller officiating. Interment was held in the Pine Log Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Fred Ray and Scott Massie, David Owens, Pete Miller, and Kevin and Adam Cook. The family received friends from 6-8 Sunday evening at the Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy. Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy in charge of all arrangements.
