Proposed Budget 2008-2009

The Town Finance Officerhas submitted the proposed budget for the 2008-2009 fiscal year to the Mayor and Town Council. The inspection

copies are located in the officeof the Mayor and Town Clerk located

in the Town Hall building. The Town Council will hold a public hearing on the FY 2008-2009 proposed budget at Friday, May 30, 2008, at 12 Noon in Town Hall. At this time any person who wishes to be heard on

the budget may appear. The following amounts are proposed for the operation of the Town of Hayesville for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2008 and ending June 30, 2009. The millage rate will remain the same,

$0.33 on each $100 assessed valuation of taxable property as listed

inside the town limits of Hayesville.
