Jerald J. Enloe

Jerald J. Enloe, 80, of Hayesville died Sunday, November 9, 2008 in an Union County, GA care facility. A native and lifetime resident of Clay County, he was the son of the late Fred Fowler and Avie Lou Garrett Enloe. He was a retired truck driver and mechanic for the North Carolina Department of Transportation. Jerald was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are his wife, Anna Mae Hogsed Enloe; two daughters, Judy J. Enloe of Gainesville, GA and Nikki LaGrange and husband, Robert of Hayesville; a son, Jackie James Enloe and wife, Terrie of Dahlonega, GA; and four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, Nov. 12 in the Chapel of the Ivie Funeral Home, Hayesville with Rev. Lamar Ramey officiating. Interment will be in the Shooting Creek Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Chester Hogsed, Daniel Davenport, Nathan Merck, Milton "Sport" Teasdale, Christy Teasdale, and Tabitha Merck. Honorary pallbearers will be Willard and Allen Loftus, and Harry Rogers.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 Tuesday evening at the Ivie Funeral Home, Hayesville.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in memory of Jerald J. Enloe to the Shooting Creek Church of Christ, 123 Jackie Cove Road, Hayesville, NC 28904.
